New Callsign neon/LED light in the shack

With the new callsign I had to order a new glowing sign to go in the corner of the shack and here it is. It’s actually quite the upgrade from the last one and this one changes colour and has a remote control! I am so blessed!!

While changing over to the new sign I also decided to improve the stand I built for the 3 hand held radios. Previously it was made from 2 white chopping boards and severed the simple task of keeping the direct sun from cooking the radios on hot days.

I’m still using the chopping boards but now I’ve covered them in a really nice carbon fibber effect vinyl which I think really adds a bit of a more polished finish to everything and makes the lettering on the sign pop!
