I’ve watched a lot of interviews with this guy and I like his attitude and approach to so many things. Yes, he’s one of the elite billionaires but he is self made so that gets my respect. But he also seems to appreciate the people around him.

I particularly like that he likes to promote staff within an organisation because they have already shown dedication to the companies goals.

What a guy!! Joint winner of the 1965 Nobel Prize in Physics. Was part of the team that developed the atomic bomb. And for me, one of his greatest moments was when he exposed the cause of the Challenger shuttle disaster and demonstrated it so simply with an O-ring and a glass of ice water.

But more than anything I love his enthusiasm to just about anything. Watch one of the many documenters about his and wont fail to see what I mean. It dosn’t matter if it’s out of this world level physics or the beauty of a flower growing in a field he just loves it and I get the impression he loves sharing that enthusiasm.

Just someone who clearly has an open mind and wants to learn about everything he comes across.

This might surprise many of you. While I don’t think he had the drive/strength to be the prime minister of the UK I do think he is fundamentally a very good man.

Some years I listened to BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs interview with him and was genuinely impressed by what he had to say.

Simply someone who inspired me back in the 80s with his ground breaking TV show and book “Cosmos”.

I saw a BBC Horizon documentary many years ago taking about the discovery of uckminsterfullerene (C60) in which Professor Harry Kroto played a major role and fell in love with organic chemistry.

A man that the world leaders needs to look at and learn how to conduct themselves in almost impossible situations.

A Nottingham lad who has become so much more than a Motoring YouTube “influencer”.

He’s achieved so much and has some interesting opinions on the world that from time to time he discusses on his channel.

What can I say. . . . . Just a man who had held great power in the world and used that power for good.

The editor of the Paris Match magazine but a great collector of “photographs”.

I watch a wonderful documentary about him in the early hours of one morning and felt that we shared so many of the same views on the importance of photography.
