The Victoria Embankment is one of my foveate locations to pop down to and sit while drinking a coffee. This time of year the colours can be amazing is the sun comes out and hits the tops of the trees.
One point to note is my choice of camera for this photograph. A lot of times I use my Pixel 10 Pro XL phone camera which takes quiet remarkable quality JPG photographs for what it is, but today I had my grown up Sony A7cR camera. While this is a quite small mirrorless camera, it has a full frame 62 megapixel sensor which when teamed up with Sony prime lenses takes some of the most incredibly sharp and detailed images I’ve ever seen. Maybe this is the difference between a “photograph” and a “snapshot”.
