This is one of my all time favourite photographs of my home city of Nottingham. It’s not normally posable to get into the castle grounds after dark but I was lucky enough to be invited to an event back in November 2010. While the event was being set up I popped away to grab the opportunity to capture this photograph which I had wanted to take for such a long time and which I knew would result in something quite special.
I love the photograph because it has captured so much “life”. The more I look at it the more I see and the detail captured with the Nikon 10mm fisheye lens it quite incredible.
