Everyone needs to open their eyes

Last nights local and by-elections have shown a substantial swing in support to the Reform UK party (or the “if your not with us we hate you” party). Main stream politicians and parties are entirely to blame for this because they have ignored the concerns, fears and needs of the indigenous population of this country in favour of a “we know better” approach.

People of this country are sick and tired of ineffective actions on illegal and unchecked immigration, crime, lack of investment in infrastructure like roads, the NHS and so many other things.

Reform UK have seen the growing dissatisfaction and jumped on it with a pile of populist policies to try and win votes and subsequently winning power! And people have taken their votes and given them to Reform UK in protest. History is littered with this across the world from ancient times to modern day.

But if you dig a little bit deeper into what really matters to Reform UK you might not like what they stand for quite so much.

In my opinion they less about reform (defined as making changes in something, especially an institution or practice in order to improve it.) and more about dragging back to the stone age. Back to a dictatorship with draconian laws and beliefs.

If you don’t believe this, then have a look at some of the less publicised aims of Reform UK and have a think about how they will impact on your life and freedoms.

Reform UK's stated diversity policies involve scrapping Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion (DE&I) rules and replacing the Equalities Act. They also aim to ban "transgender ideology" in schools, preventing gender questioning, social transitioning, and pronoun swapping. The party also intends to leave the European Convention on Human Rights and reform the Human Rights Act.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

Scrapping DE&I:
Reform UK believes DE&I initiatives have lowered standards, reduced economic productivity, and are divisive.

Replacing the Equalities Act:
The party argues the Equality Act requires discrimination in the name of "positive action" and wants to replace it.

Banning "Transgender Ideology" in Schools:
Reform UK wants to prevent gender questioning, social transitioning, and pronoun swapping in schools. Parents would be informed of any life decisions made by children.

Leaving ECHR and Human Rights Act:
Reform UK aims to leave the European Convention on Human Rights and reform the Human Rights Act, prioritizing the rights of law-abiding people.

And I’m sure this is just scratching the surface. There will be members of the Reform UK party who hold far more radical and extreme ideas just waiting in the wings and the opportunity to put their ideas into action.

To everyone out there, be careful what you do with your so called “protest vote” because you could get far more than you bargained for!
