Dumbing down the modern world

This is something I strongly believe is happened at an ever increasing rate in our modern society. I have commented on it here when I’ve talked about people not wanting to learn or understand or increase their knowledge.

But this is how one of the greatest scientists and educators in all our history, the amazing Carl Sagan puts it far more eloquently than I ever could.
