Not so sure I trust them to drive a bus!

As part of my Radio hobby I like to monitor a wide range of VHF/UHF frequencies used by organisations around Nottingham. One of those frequency ranges is used by the bus company Nottingham City Transport Ltd, and they provide endless hours of entertainment.

The thing that worries me most though is the level of incompetence of some of the drivers. So many times these driver get lost on their routes, take wrong turns, can not follow simple instructions from the controllers and most worrying they can not speak a word of English!

How are people incapable of doing what is at the end of the day a very responsible job be allowed to drive? Joking apart, are these people safe on our roads and with the lives of the passengers onboard?
